Reports to: School Principal
Responsible: (Tasks you are responsible for. Tasks are subject to change)
Data driven decision making and coaching
- Model and teach how to build strong, appropriate, and mutually respectful relationships with scholars.
- Drive fidelity of culture systems across the school, including classroom and behavior management, attendance, and more.
- Track, analyze and utilize school-wide culture data and make adjustments to ensure equity in systems. Provide feedback directly to teachers and leaders.
- Coach a portfolio of teachers. Observe classrooms daily and deliver targeted feedback to teachers to build and maintain a nurturing a culture of learning.
- Facilitate excellent, practice-changing professional development in response to scholar and teacher data, grounded in school/network goals and priorities. (SEL, Addressing Tier 2 and 3 Behaviors, Creating a Culture of Learning, and more.)
Serve as an active member of the school leadership team:
- Be a liaison between families and teachers to effectively build relationships in support of scholars.
- Actively participate and engage in regular leadership team meetings, walkthroughs, and monthly leadership development training.
- Work closely with the Vice Principal of Academic Coaching and Success to ensure character development and a positive school culture for scholars and staff.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills:
- Demonstrate the ability to be self-aware in stressful situations and model exceptional self-management skills.
- Lead with accountability, empathy, emotional intelligence and empowerment. Lead by example.
- Engage in Promise Driven accountability conversations when equity is not being exhibited.
- Collaborate with the K-12 VPoCC to norm on practices, learn from each other, and improve scholar achievement across the network.
- Model FA professional and core values at all times; be a visible and highly engaged leader in the school community.
- Remain current on best practice and differentiate approaches for teachers

- Effectively develop and execute a high-performance culture plan that creates and maintains a school-wide culture of structure and pride (i.e. implementation of incentive systems, club and enrichment activities, clear schoolwide expectations). Thus achieving:
- 95% student attendance rate
- 80% or more of all behaviors are Tier 1
- Partnering with teachers to creatively and strategically establish and maintain high standards of team performance by developing clear long-term and annual goals, actively monitoring performance, providing actionable feedback, ongoing development and resources to continuously improve thus retaining 90% of teachers.

- Family engagement
- Special Services programming: I&RS, Behavior Intervention Plan, Paraprofessional Crisis Management Development
- Retention of high-quality staff

- Performance Management and Evaluation Systems for Teacher and Leader Development
- All things Scholar and Staff Culture: PBIS, Culture and Climate, Attendance
Educational Background and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree; master's degree and Principal CE or eligibility required within the first two months of employment.
- At least 3 years of exceptional teaching experience with a record of high student achievement.
- At least 2 years of successful experience leading and managing adults.
- If not currently certified, obtaining the necessary state certification is required within the first two months of employment.
Salary: 97,500-110,000
